		<description>Karyn,
My son is at Boles right now. He has been there for three weeks. We went to Boles because we were so excited about their connection with you. We are a private placement. Ethan had been digressing the last nine months or so. Dr Jason Mishalene worked with him for six months doing neurofeeback. Now we are being faced with him becoming unsafe there. When Ethan feels unsafe he acts out and threatens. He threatened to put his finger in a light socket. Ethan has been with our forever family for five years. He came to us at 2 after being locked in a room most of his life with his basic needs met. He gets upset when in a room by himself. Our hope was that we could all learn more about being and that this would be a good environment for a time for him to grow in relationship with out entire family. Instead the psych that meets with kids wanted my husband to place him in the hospital. We did it hesitantly but with her telling us he would get blood work. We thought that meant we could check his chemicals etc sooner and could get some answers to help with his behavioral struggles. Instead the doctor wants to now put him on seraquil. We are telling the doctor no. Have we been wrong to put Ethan in Boles and is there a better way therapeutically for us to work with him? He had never been to the hospital before and was I believe making empty threats. Please help me with a plan for my son...I am going to let the staff know we want no medicine. Any thing else you can recommend would be so helpful. He has also been on adderoll the last nine months which was a decision my doctor here made. So, I want him off of all of them but do you think we should consider bringing him home? Our biggest behavioral issue is stealing. Other than that he really does ok. He often is fine for many activities like sunday school et. We had just noticed in the last six months a new level of passive aggressive behavior and a new level of stealing. HELP please.
